Everything we explain at the counter, written down: what's in the jar, how much to take, and what New York law actually says. Educational only — for adults 21+.
Three rules before
anything else.
Start low
Small first doses — a puff or two, or 2.5–5mg of an edible. You can always add; you can't subtract.
Go slow
Give every dose time to land before deciding it "isn't working." Edibles especially.
Plan the landing
No driving, clear your evening, snacks and water nearby. Set yourself up to enjoy it.
What's actually
in the jar.
Cannabis is a plant whose flower carries hundreds of compounds. The two big families: cannabinoids (like THC and CBD) that drive the effects, and terpenes, the aroma compounds that give each strain its personality.
Every legal NY product tells you exactly what's inside — potency, batch, and test date are printed on the label. Learn to read those three numbers and you can shop anywhere with confidence.
The three
flight paths.
The day flight
Often described as brighter and more energizing — a daytime, social lean.
The cruise
A blend of both parents — most modern strains live here, tilted one way or the other.
The red-eye
Often described as more relaxing and body-heavy — an evening, wind-down lean.
The throttle and
the trim tab.
Why it smells
that good.
Pick your
boarding style.
The classic, done right.
Whole bud you grind and roll (or bowl) yourself. Freshness is everything — look for a recent package date, a squeeze with some give, and a loud nose. Ours is stored dark and cool, never on a hot shelf.
Ready for takeoff.
Rolled and ready — zero prep, easy to share, easy to put down and relight. Check whether it's whole-flower or infused (infused runs much stronger). A pre-roll doesn't have to be finished in one sitting.
Slow up, long glide.
Edibles process through your liver, so they start slow and last long. The classic mistake is doubling up at minute 45 because "nothing's happening." Don't. Wait the full two hours.
Quick, clean, quiet.
Cartridges snap onto a rechargeable battery; disposables are all-in-one. Fast onset and easy dose control — one short puff at a time. We stock pure cannabis oil with cannabis-derived terpenes, the NY standard.
Max altitude.
Live resin, rosin, badder — cannabis distilled to its strongest form. Flavor-dense and fast. These are for experienced flyers with the right gear; ask the counter before your first dab.
The right kit.
A decent grinder, papers you like, a lighter that works, and an airtight jar — that's 90% of it. Cheap gear wastes good flower; mid-range gear lasts years. We stock the stuff we actually use.
Five rules for
a smooth ride.
Start low, go slow. The whole game in five words.
Wait it out. Two full hours for edibles before any second dose.
Don't mix with alcohol. It multiplies the effects unpredictably.
Hydrate and snack. Water nearby, real food beforehand.
Too high? Ride it down. Water, a calm room, a friend, sleep. It passes. CBD can help take the edge off.
The label is
the flight plan.
Potency — Total THC and CBD — per package and per serving. This is your dose math.
Batch & lot — Ties your product to its lab results. Ask us to pull the certificate.
Dates — Package and test dates — fresher flower, brighter terps.
NY marks — The universal THC symbol and NY warnings mean it's the legal, tested article.
What to bring,
what to expect.
ID at the door — Any valid government ID showing 21+ — checked every visit, no exceptions.
Browse or beeline — Smell jars and wander, or grab your online order from the pickup line.
Pay cash or debit — Card networks still limit cannabis — ATMs on-site at both shops.
Ask anything — Tell the counter how you want to feel. That's all we need.
Class dismissed —
find your flight.
How much flying
have you done?
Lock it up,
keep it fresh.
Keep everything in its original child-resistant packaging, up high and out of sight — a lockbox is a cheap upgrade we genuinely recommend. Edibles look like candy to kids and dogs. If ingestion happens, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 right away.
For freshness: airtight glass, cool and dark. Skip the fridge for flower (moisture swings), skip plastic bags (static strips the good stuff), and vapes live happily at room temperature.
New York rules,
plain English.
Adults 21+ may buy from licensed dispensaries — that's the only legal source.
Carry up to 3 oz of flower and 24 g of concentrate in public.
Smoke only where tobacco is allowed — never in cars, schools, or workplaces.
Never drive under the influence. Plan the ride like you would a night out.
Don't cross state lines with it — even to states where it's legal. Rules evolve; check the OCM for current law.
Four myths,
grounded.
Metabolism, food, and body chemistry change everything. Your dose is yours — find it slowly.
Potency isn't quality. Terpenes, freshness, and the right dose beat a big number every time.
No known lethal dose isn't the same as no bad night. Overdoing it is genuinely unpleasant — pace yourself.
Licensed NY products are tested and labeled; the gray market is a coin flip. The license is the difference.

Enjoy the view,
respect the sky.
Cannabis is for adults 21 and older. Keep it away from children and pets, never drive under the influence, and if it stops feeling like a choice, reach out — New York's free, confidential helpline is there for exactly that.
